Jewelry Design
Diamond District, NYC | 2018-2024
In 2018, a chance introduction to one of the world’s most recognized jewelry designers led to a five-year collaboration that helped shape the visual language of modern hip-hop luxury. What began as a trial sketch quickly evolved into a trusted role as a design consultant, where I was responsible for turning loose concepts, artist identities, or creative briefs into fully rendered jewelry designs.
These sketches and design directions were passed on to 3D fabricators and ultimately worn by some of the most influential artists of the last decade—including Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Drake, Migos, City Girls, BlocBoy JB, OT Genasis, and more. Often working behind the scenes, my role was to translate personality, presence, and performance into tangible cultural artifacts.
Two of the chains I helped design were featured in ICE COLD (2022), a New York Times-bestselling book published by TASCHEN documenting the evolution of hip-hop jewelry. That same body of work later became part of an art exhibit hosted at the American Museum of Natural History in 2023—exposing historic pieces to a public audience of over 5 million throughout its run.
This chapter of my career represents the intersection of identity, culture, and design at scale, and stands as proof that impactful design doesn’t just shine, it can last.
