Role: Jewelry Designer & Design Consultant

Client: Luxury jewelry brand operating at the center of hip-hop and celebrity culture.

Timeframe: 2018-2023

Challenge: Translate artist identity, performance, and cultural presence into high-end jewelry designs within a fast-moving, production environment, while maintaining precision, originality, and manufacturability.

The Approach

  • Interpreted loose concepts, creative briefs, and artist personas into rendered jewelry designs.

  • Developed detailed sketches and visual directions used by 3D fabricators for production.

  • Worked behind the scenes in close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure designs translated accurately from concept to final piece.

  • Designed with cultural relevance in mind, balancing luxury craftsmanship with bold visual identity aligned to hip-hop aesthetics.

The Outcome

  • Jewelry designs worn by some of the most influential hip-hop artists of the last decade, contributing to the visual language of modern hip-hop luxury.

  • Two chains featured in ICE COLD (2023), a New York Times-bestselling book published by TASCHEN documenting the history of hip-hop jewelry.

  • Book included in a 2023 exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History, reaching a public audience of over 5 million during its run.
